Full Time Butchery & Deli Assistant

Minimum 40 hours per week (including Saturdays)

Do you have a passion for great food and love providing outstanding customer service?

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our award-winning team at Nicholson’s. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our business, working alongside our skilled butchers and bakery team to ensure our customers receive the very best quality and service every single day.

Your role will include:

• Serving and looking after our valued customers.
• Setting up and maintaining our deli counter to the highest standards.
• Preparing and managing cooked and high-risk food production areas safely and hygienically.
• Ensuring our displays are full, fresh and beautifully presented.
• Maintaining exceptional food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Working closely with the wider team to keep the business running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with food (essential).
• Has a genuine passion for quality food and fresh produce.
• Is organised, reliable and takes pride in everything they do.
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Works well as part of a team and is happy to support wherever needed.
• Is flexible and enjoys working in a busy environment.
• Is happy with early starts and enjoys being part of a fast-paced production team.
• Understands the importance of food safety and handling high-risk foods.
